BAROBENCH / INFORMATION

Privacy policy

Your working data and the information involved in loading a website are different. This policy explains what stays on your device and which services are involved.

Effective: October 30, 2026

Scope and operator

This policy applies to BaroBench tools and information pages at barobench.com. Privacy inquiries are handled by the BaroBench operator at the email below. External services you visit through links have their own policies.

Text, files and tool results

Pasted text, selected files and calculation or conversion results are processed in your browser. The tool code does not upload that working content to a server or send it as analytics events. There is no account or server-side history of your work.

Downloaded results are saved on your device, and copying uses the system clipboard. Clipboard history, browser extensions, screen sharing and operating-system behavior are outside this site’s control. Consider those environments when working with sensitive material.

Preferences stored in this browser

Favorites, detailed or compact catalog view, and theme choice are stored in localStorage. They are not synchronized through an account and do not include your tool inputs or results.

Preferences can remain until changed or until you clear site data for barobench.com in your browser. Private browsing and storage restrictions may prevent settings from persisting.

Connection information and Cloudflare

The site is delivered through Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare’s network. Loading a page can involve processing IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and browser or device request information for content delivery and security. This connection processing is separate from uploading your working files to a tool server.

Do not put tool inputs in URLs or inquiry subject lines. Cloudflare’s policy describes the information it processes and its retention practices.

When you send an email

You send inquiries directly from your email service. The operator reads your sender address, message and any attachments to respond and investigate issues. Tool inputs are not automatically attached to an inquiry.

The contact address uses Gmail, so Google’s services are involved in email transmission and storage. Send anonymized examples rather than passwords, API keys or customer data. Inquiry content is used to respond and investigate, and information no longer needed is deleted unless retention is required by law.

Advertising and analytics

Google AdSense code and visitor analytics scripts are currently disabled. The site does not currently use tool inputs for advertising targeting.

Before introducing advertising or analytics, we will review the provider, cookies and identifiers, data use and any required choices or consent, then update this policy to reflect actual behavior.

Access, correction, deletion and policy changes

Contact the email below to ask about, correct or request deletion of personal information supplied in an inquiry. Only information needed to verify and handle the request may be requested. Preferences stored solely in your browser must be cleared on that device.

Changes to this policy will be reflected in the effective date and text on this page. The policy describes the current service, rather than assuming that future advertising or account features already exist.
